COBBLER CAKE | |
1 can pie filling (cherry, peach or apple) 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained 1 yellow or white cake mix 1 c. melted butter 1 c. flaked coconut 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread pie filling evenly in bottom of 9x13x2 inch baking dish. Arrange pineapple chunks over pie filling. Sprinkle cake mix over top of pineapple, cover with melted butter, and top with coconut and nuts. Bake for 1 hour or until done. Serve hot or cold, with or without, whipped topping. |
