CINNAMON TWISTS 
In a large pan bring to a boil:

Stir in until well blended: 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt

Cool until lukewarm add: 1 pkg. dry yeast

Stir until yeast is dissolved. Mix in with a spoon, 3 cups flour (all purpose). Turn on lightly floured board. Knead lightly to form a smooth ball. Cover with a damp cloth and a let stand 5 minutes. Mix: 1/3 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon

Roll dough 1/4 inch thick into 6 x 14 rectangle spread 1/2 of long side with butter and cinnamon mixture. Fold over other half. Cut into 1 inch strips. Twist each piece. Place on greased baking sheet, let rise about 45 minutes. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Frost with confectioners' sugar icing.
