WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. ripe bananas (2 med.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Spray loaf pan with PAM. Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl and stir well. Combine sugar and oil at medium speed for 2 minutes or until well blended. Add egg and beat until light and lemon colored.

With mixer running at low speed, add flour mix alternately with bananas, beginning and ending with flour mix. Stir in vanilla.

Pour batter into 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Turn oven off and allow to cool in oven. Makes 16 (1/2-inch) slices, about 120 calories per slice.
