FORGOTTEN CHICKEN | |
2-3 lb. chicken pieces, boneless breasts or turkey fillets 1 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 soup can milk or 1 can half water & half dry wine 1 pouch dry onion soup mix Spread uncooked rice in a buttered 10 x 12 inch casserole. Place uncooked chicken pieces on rice. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken/rice. Cover with foil. Bake 2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Green pepper strips or diced pimento could be added for color and additional flavor. Serves 6-8. |
