1/4 c. butter
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. devils food or yellow cake mix

1. Cream butter and cheese. Blend in egg and vanilla.

2. Add cake mix 1/3 at a time, mixing well after each addition.

3. Cover and chill 30 minutes (could do overnight).

4. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Drop by scant teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.

5. Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
