BREAD STICKS | |
1 pkg. hot dog buns (day old are great) 1 stick butter 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1 clove garlic, crushed (optional) 2 tbsp. poppy or sesame seeds (optional) Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Separate buns at seam, cut each in half lengthwise. Place strips onto ungreased baking sheet. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat, stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt and crushed garlic. Brush each stick generously with seasoned butter mixture and sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds. Place pan in 200 degree oven and toast about 1 hour, so that the sticks will dry out and become crusty and crunchy. Let cool and store in plastic bag. |
