JO ANN'S HORSERADISH STEAK 
1 large bone-in chuck steak
salt and pepper, to taste
1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup mix
1 bottle cream style horseradish (Inglehoffer)
water, to cover

Cut steak into serving pieces. Salt, pepper and dredge in all-purpose flour. Fry until brown on outside in butter.

Spoon horseradish on top of each serving of steak. Sprinkle with onion soup mix. Cover with water Simmer for about 4 hours, covered.

Keep checking water to make sure it covers steak.

I serve with a garden green salad and mashed potatoes. This recipe makes a great gravy for the potatoes.
