SPINACH SALAD 
2 bunches spinach, washed and torn into bite-size pieces
3 green onions, chopped
1 red apple, chopped
5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 c. slivered almonds

DRESSING:

6 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine spinach, onions, apple and bacon. Toast almonds in a 300 degree oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until golden brown, then add to other ingredients. Combine dressing ingredients and chill. Pour salad dressing over salad and toss just prior to serving.
