1 head lettuce, torn into pieces
1 c. chopped green onions
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped celery
1 pkg. frozen peas, cooked and drained
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
bacon bits

Layer in order in an airtight container and chill for 24 hours. Mix before serving.
