CHERRY STREUSEL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
5 tbsp. melted butter
1 qt. cherries (pitted and drained), try sour cherries for a unique dessert

STREUSEL CRUMBS FOR TOPPING:

3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/4 c. sugar (white or brown or mixed)

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder. Mix eggs and milk, and stir into flour mixture. Add melted butter, vanilla, and beat well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread cherries over cake. Cover with streusel crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and then 375 degrees until done (about 30 minutes). Serve hot or cold with milk or ice cream.
