CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. enriched cake flour
Dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. butter, softened

Sprinkle 1/2 cup walnuts in a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan, set aside. Cream butter and cream cheese together; gradually add sugar beating until light and fluffy (mixer). Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Add flour, and salt, stirring until combined. Stir in vanilla and remaining walnuts. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to cake plate. Let cool.
