CRISP MACARONI SALAD | |
1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni 1 env. (1 1/4 oz.) cheese sauce mix 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. sour cream 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 c. finely shredded cabbage 3 hard cooked eggs, chopped 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 2 green onions, chopped Cook macaroni as directed; drain and cool. Pour sauce mix into small saucepan. Slowly stir in water. Heat just to boiling, stirring constantly. Stir in mayonnaise, sour cream, salt, pepper. cool. Combine macaroni with remaining ingredients in medium size bowl. Add sauce mixture, toss to combine. Chill. Serves 4-6. |
