POTATO CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. pecans
1 c. crushed potato chips (Ruffles brand are best)

Cream shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in hot water. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
