HAMBURGER CHOP SUEY 
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 lb. ground beef
3 lg. stalks celery, sliced
1/2 c. boiling water
1 beef bouillon cube
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cold water
1 can bean sprouts
1 3/4 tsp. salt

Saute onion and ground beef until beef is cooked but not browned. Add celery, boiling water and bouillon cube. Cover tightly and cook 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch, salt, brown sugar, pepper, soy sauce, cold water and bean sprout liquid; stir until smooth. Add to meat mixture and stir thoroughly. Add bean sprouts and heat through. Serve over rice. 4-6 servings.
