FRUIT PIZZA | |
1 roll Pillsbury sugar dough Assorted fruit 1 batch cream cheese fruit dip 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (opt.) Additional toppings Orange, blueberry, strawberry, pears, pineapple, kiwi, passion, cherry, grapes, etc. halved if small (grape) and sliced if larger (kiwi), use whatever you like. Coconut flakes, marshmallows, nuts, cake decorating sprinkles, raisins (opt.). Slice the sugar cookie dough into 1/2" slices. Arrange on a cookie sheet (spraying with Pam cooking spray may help prevent sticking when it is baked) in a circular pattern. Fill in the holes, if any, so the dough resembles an "uncooked pizza". Follow directions and bake. After it is done and completely cool, spread the "cream cheese fruit dip" mixture on it and arrange the fruit in a circular pattern, one circle of pineapple pieces, the next circle of grapes, the next of strawberry, etc., until the entire pizza is covered. Melt 1/4 to 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and drizzle it over the pizza in any pattern you wish. NOTE: Regular pastry dough can be used instead of the cookie dough. |
