LEMONADE PIE 
1 (9") pie shell
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
4 egg yolks
1/3 c. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. hot water
2 tbsp. butter
1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade

Mix together sugar, cornstarch, salt and egg yolks with a little water. Bring hot water, butter and lemonade to a boil. Add the other ingredients and boil until clear, about 1 to 2 minutes. Pour into pie shell and cool.

MERINGUE:

4 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar

Beat the egg whites until foaming. Add the sugar and cream of tartar and gradually beat until mixture is stiff and glossy. Spread over cooled pie filling, completely covering it. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until brown.
