1/2 gal. chopped up cabbage 1/2 gal. chopped up green tomatoes 1 qt. chopped bell peppers (some red for color) 2 1/2 c. vinegar 2-3 c. sugar (just 2 c. if you want it hotter) 1 c. chopped up hot pepper for mild 2 c. hot pepper if you like it hot (some red for color) 2 c. chopped onions 2 c. water 1/2 c. salt (not iodized) Mix all together to almost boiling. Put in hot clean jars and seal. |
