CHEESE SAUCE FOR VEGETABLES 
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. American cheese, grated

Blend butter and flour, then add milk and boil until thickened. Then add pepper, salt and cheese. Continue to heat, stirring constantly until cheese is melted.
