LASAGNA IN A BUN 
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 env. dry onion soup mix
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. cottage cheese
1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
4-6 rolls (hard or kaiser)

Brown beef and drain. Add tomato sauce, soup mix and herbs. Cook, covered over low heat for five minutes. Uncover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Combine egg and cheese. Cut thin slice off top of roll and hollow out. Spoon half of meat mixture into bottom of rolls. Spoon cheese mix over meat, then top with remaining meat mix. Cover with roll tops. Wrap in a foil and bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
