1 (#2 1/2) can cling peach halves
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. grated orange rind
1 tsp. whole cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice

Drain syrup and combine 2/3 cup syrup with remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, simmer 5 minutes. Add peaches and simmer 5 minutes longer. Chill overnight. Serve with meat course.
