1 can strawberry or cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple
1 yellow or white cake mix
3/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1 stick butter

In greased 9"x13" cake pan spread pie filling and undrained pineapple. Sprinkle with cake mix (unprepared). Top with pecans and thinly sliced butter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 55 minutes. Serve warm or cold with Cool Whip.
