LEMON ICE BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
Grated rind of 1 lemon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

TOPPING:

Juice & rind of 1 lg. lemon
1/4 c. sugar

Cream the butter. Add the sugar and grated rind of lemon. Add the eggs. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Add alternately with milk. Add the chopped nuts. Bake in greased loaf pan at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. As soon as the bread is removed from oven, pour the mixture of sugar and lemon over the bread. Let cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
