3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. shortening
Dash of salt
2 eggs, beaten
4 tbsp. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, soda, baking powder, salt, and shortening together as for a pie crust. Then add milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Chill and roll out. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. You can sprinkle with sugar before baking or frost afterwards.
