MAPLE CREAMS 
1 pkg. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
4 tbsp. heavy cream (or canned milk)
1 1/2 tsp. maple flavor
1/2 c. chopped nuts

COATING:

2 sq. chocolate
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 (2 inch) square paraffin

Mix all ingredients in creams and make into balls. Let dry about 2 hours. Melt coating ingredients over hot (not boiling) water and dip creams. Coat and place on waxed paper or greased cookie sheet.

NOTE: For cherry creams, use vanilla in place of maple, candied cherry's chopped to replace nuts.
