TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
1 lg. can pineapple chunks
2 1/2 c. sm. marshmallows
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg, beaten well
1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
1 extra lg. Cool Whip
3 lg. peeled apples, cut into bite size pieces
1 can cocktail (unsalted) peanuts

Drain pineapple and save juice. Mix pineapple and marshmallows. Set aside. Mix juice, sugar, flour, egg and vinegar. Cook until thick. Mix Cool Whip with cooked mixture. Then add the pineapple and marshmallows. Add apples. Refrigerate for several hours. Mix peanuts in salad before serving.
