SEAFOAM SALAD 
1 lg. pkg. lime Jello
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 lg. can pear halves, mashed up
1 c. hot water
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Mix Jello with 1 cup hot water. Drain pears and add juice to Jello mixture.

Have cream cheese at room temperature. Mash up pears with fork - add cream cheese, Cool Whip, and pears. I use a hand egg beater to mix this up. Add nuts. Cool completely - to jell.
