HOMEMADE REFRIED BEANS 
3 c. cooked pinto beans
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. cumin powder
1/4 c. oil

Mix beans, cumin, salt and pepper with a hand mixer until they are creamy. Fry in oil until they become a slightly stiff consistency. You will need to stir almost constantly and don't get them too dry. Leftover beans work great.
