WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 mashed bananas
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/3 c. hot water
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Melt butter. Stir in sugar. Add eggs and mashed bananas. Sift together all-purpose flour, salt and soda. Stir in whole wheat flour. Add dry mixture alternately with hot water to butter mixture. Stir in nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
