TEKETAS 
3 lbs. hamburger
Approximately 120 corn tortillas
Seasonings to taste

Cook hamburger meat slow with lots of water for 3 to 4 hours. Add seasonings after 2 hours. Spread out on cookie sheet and pat out 1/4 inch deep. Refrigerate overnight. Slice congealed mixture into pieces about the size of a pencil and 4 inches long. Cook tortillas 45 to 60 minutes at a time. Roll in tortillas and fasten with toothpicks. Put in oven and warm or fry. Great for freezing.

TEKETA SAUCE:

1 can tomato juice
1/3 c. dill pickle juice
Red pepper and other seasonings to taste
Chili powder to taste

Boil and keep refrigerated.
