NORWEGIAN COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. water

Mix as for pie crust. Spread on ungreased cookie sheet with hands floured; set aside. Let 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter come to a boil. Remove and add 1 cup flour and 3 eggs, one at a time. Spread over first layer. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Frost with powdered sugar frosting when cool.

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. hot water or milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together.
