2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour and milk. Cook until thick. Cool. Beat together butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add flour mixture and beat until well blended and thick.
