OKRA & TATER FRY 
4 c. chopped okra
1/2 c. flour
4 med. potatoes, peeled & cubed
1 lg. onion, chopped
3 tbsp. bacon drippings or shortening

In large iron skillet, melt grease. Mix okra with flour and pour into skillet. Add potatoes and onions. Fry on medium stirring frequently to prevent burning, until golden.

I realize I havn't tried this particular recipe YET, but I have been searching for a recipe that involved okra, onions,potatoes etc. for years. My Dad taught this to me & I then cooked it for my family. My son & husband loved it. At the time it was the only veg. my son would eat! Teen years ya know. Now he eats all kinds. Then I forgot it & couldn't remember for the life of me what all was in it. Thank God I finally found it. This version sounds just like it!! Thank you soooo much. It will be much enjoyed.
