1 c. brown sugar (white will do)
1 egg
1/2 c. melt butter (lard will do)
1 tsp. baking powder
2 sq. chocolate or 1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sweet milk (sour will do)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nut meats
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together well. Drop on greased cookie sheet with spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 rounded tbsp. cocoa
Sm. piece butter

Mix with milk until its thicker than for cake. As cookies come out of oven put on frosting.
