CHERRIES A LA MODE 
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
3 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
Vanilla ice cream
Commercial pound cake slices

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat 3 minutes or until mixture is thoroughly heated. To serve, scoop ice cream onto cake slices. Top with cherry sauce. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
