PEACH COBBLER | |
1 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. butter 1 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. lite salt 1/2 c. milk 3/4 c. sugar 4 c. sliced fresh peaches, or any other kind of berries Cream butter and sugar. Sift flour and baking power and salt. Add flour to the sugar and butter and pour in the milk. Mix well then pour the batter into a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle 3/4 cup sugar over the peaches and add to the cobbler. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. The batter will rise to the top as it bakes and makes a crust. |
