SEASHORE ROLL
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. shortening
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk

Sift flour with 1/2 teaspoon salt and the baking powder. Cut in shortening and 1/2 cup milk mixed with the beaten egg. Mix until the dough follows a fork around the bowl. Roll 1/4 inch thick on lightly floured surface.

FILLING:

1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna or 1 c. salmon
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine tuna ingredients and spread them over the dough. Roll, pinching the edges to seal. Bake on greased cookie sheet in hot oven (425 degrees) for 30 minutes.

CHEESE SAUCE:

Melt 3 tablespoons fat, add 3 tablespoons flour and blend. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups milk. Cook over low heat until smooth and thick. Add 1/2 to 1 cup grated American cheese. Stir until melted and pour over the roll.
