POPCORN BALLS 
3 qt. popcorn, microwave does good
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. sugar

Cook Karo syrup and sugar just until sugar dissolves. Pour over popcorn. Mix well with wooden spoons. Put butter on hands and roll into balls or mold into a cake. Can add any kind of candy or nuts. These popcorn balls remain soft enough to bite but are not sticky.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
