CONGO SQUARES 
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. light brown sugar
3 eggs
2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Mix with 1 pound of light brown sugar; cool and add 3 eggs. Mix well. Add 2 3/4 cups self-rising flour and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Then add 6 ounces chocolate chips and 1 cup nuts. Bake in greased 13x9 pan for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
