ICE BOX SWEET PICKLES 
7 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
1 c. sliced onions
1 c. green pepper

Soak overnight in 1/4 cup salt; drain and rinse. Put in jar and add 2 cups sugar, 1 cup vinegar, and 1 teaspoon celery seed. Mix but don't heat. Store in refrigerator.
