BLUE RIBBON BROWNIES 
1/3 c. butter, melted
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate together in small saucepan. Let cool 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in sugar. Beat in eggs. Blend together dry ingredients; add to chocolate mixture and stir well. Mix in nuts. Bake in an 8-inch square pan sprayed with Pam for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
