CHEESEBURGERS EN SAUCE 
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. low fat cottage cheese
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1 recipe thin brown gravy
1 c. rolled oats
1 c. Vege-Burger
1 tsp. sage
1/4 c. minced parsley

Combine all ingredients except gravy. Form into small burger patties. Brown on both sides, either in non-stick baking dish in 350 degree oven or in lightly oiled skillet on top of range. Pour gravy over burgers in skillet and simmer gently a few minutes or pour gravy over burgers in baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. 8 servings.

THIN BROWN GRAVY:

1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. beef-like seasoning
2 c. water

Yield: 2 cups. Mix flour and seasonings in saucepan. Add water gradually; simmer, stirring until smooth and thickened.

NOTE: This gravy is for simmering patties. For regular brown gravy use 1/3 less water.
