CHOCOLATE CHIP MERINGUES 
2 egg whites
Dash of salt
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted & cooled
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Beat egg whites with salt, vinegar and vanilla until SOFT peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until STIFF. Fold in chocolate and nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies. Rich, but oh so good!
