1 (18 oz.) jar smooth peanut butter 1 lb. (2 c.) powdered sugar 1 stick butter 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips 1/4 to 1/3 bar paraffin wax Mix peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar. Roll mixture into small balls, about the size of a small walnuts. Place on wax paper on a cookie sheet and refrigerate. Melt 12 oz. package of chocolate chips with 1/4 to 1/3 bar paraffin wax in a double boiler. Stir as needed until melted. Place toothpick into top of peanut butter balls and dip into chocolate. Leave a little of the top of the ball uncovered with chocolate, will look like the buckeye nut. Place back on cookie sheet. Remove toothpick. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens. |
