YELLOW SQUASH CASSEROLE 
6 med. size squash, cubed
1 med. size onion, diced
1 tsp. sugar
Dash of salt
2 to 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
15 to 20 buttered crackers, crumbled
3 or 4 tbsp. butter. melted

Put squash and onions in saucepan with small amount of water. Add salt, cover and cook until tender (20 to 25 minutes). Drain well. Place in mixing bowl, add sugar and cream cheese. Beat with mixer until well blended and has creamy texture. Place in baking dish and top with crushed crackers which have been blended with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
