CHEESE BURGER CHOWDER 
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. cubed, peeled potatoes
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 c. sliced raw carrots
2 cubes beef bouillon

May use any leftover veggies, i.e. corn, beans, etc.

Brown beef and onion together. Drain off grease. Transfer mixture to a large pot so you can boil vegetables with meat. Cover vegetables and meat mixture with water. Cook until vegetables are soft. After veggies are done, add 2 1/2 cups milk. Add enough cornstarch, dissolved in water, to thicken to your taste. After it thickens add 1 cup grated cheddar cheese. Stir and heat through to melt. Serves 6 to 8.
