BAKED CHICKEN AND RICE 
1 c. raw rice
2 1/2 lb. chicken
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
1 c. water
1 pkg. onion soup mix

Put rice in bottom of well oiled baking dish. Lay pieces of chicken skin side up on rice. Mix together the soup, water, and soup mix, and pour over chicken. Cover loosely with aluminum foil. Bake 2 hours at 350 degrees.
