5 med. yellow squash, cooked
1 egg, beaten
1 med. onion, chopped
3/4 c. corn meal (self-rising)
1/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
1/2 c. buttermilk
Salt to taste

Mix all together and drop in hot grease. Cook until golden brown.
