FRENCH FRIED SANDWICHES 
Sandwiches, filled as desired
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 c. milk

Prepare sandwiches as usual with cheese, meat or jam fillings. Combine eggs, flour, salt, pepper and milk. Beat until smooth. Dip sandwiches into egg batter and fry in hot deep fat (390 degrees) until brown or fry in skillet half filled with hot fat.

Dip sandwiches into beaten egg mixed with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 cup milk, instead of dipping in above egg batter.
