BARBECUED CHICKEN | |
2 lbs. chicken parts or legs 2 tbsp. shortening 1 can tomato soup 1/3 c. onion, chopped 1/3 c. celery, chopped 1 sm. clove of garlic, minced 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. prepared mustard 2 to 3 drops Tabasco sauce Brown chicken in shortening; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes or until chicken is done, stirring occasionally. Garnish with thin slices of lemon. 4 to 6 servings. |
