CINNAMON SAUCE 
1/3 c. butter
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
6 oz. (3/4 c.) evaporated milk
1/4 c. dark Karo syrup (light is OK)
3 tbsp. hot water
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Melt butter-butter, then turn off heat and add sugar, milk and syrup. Mix thoroughly. Turn heat back on and add hot water. Stir constantly until sugar is dissolved. Do not boil! Add cinnamon. Serve over apple pie, turnovers, ice cream, etc. Serving size: 3 tablespoons for each turnover or piece of pie. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
